I enjoyed this particular event. The venue choice was very good - lots of subject matter both inside and outside. Emily had sent camera settings information sheet ahead of the session, which was a really helpful idea. On the day Emily helped put these into practice allowing us to not only to start setting these ourselves, but also to experiment in adjusting and exploring these depending on the various light strengths.

The original pic was from November 2023, the aurora was from a week ago. They were both taken at the same spot with the same camera and lens. Only difference was a six month gap. Helluva long exposure. The pic of course is a composite, just a straight sky replacement in Luminar Neo. Because the skyline is the same (some trees are slightly different) the sky swap was easy.
